Lalith Babu, International Master of Andhra Pradesh won the 32 nd National Junior Chess Championship-2008 & Sowmya Swaminathan of Maharashtra won the 17 th Women National Junior Chess Championship-2008. Chief Guest for the valedictory function Major KA Shiva Prasad, President AP Chess Association presented Trophies to the winners. APChess Association felicitated the Medal winners of 2008 World Youth Chess Championship. All the Chess Lovers & Officials of AP Chess Association congratulated International Master Lalith Babu and his mother Smt Padma for becoming 5 th International Master of Andhra Pradesh. President AP Chess Association congratulated all the organising committee Members of the National Junior chess Championship for the success of the Tournament.

32nd National Junior & 23rd National Junior Girls Chess Championships have been inagurated at SASI Engineering Colelege, Tadepalligudem. Inaguration function was presided over by Shri A.Narasimha Reddy, Chairman, AP Chess Association. Shri V.Naga Prasad, IRS, Commissioner of Incometax, Visakhapatnam was the Chief Guest of the function and inagureted the event.Shri D.V.Sundar, Secretary, All India Chess Federation, was the special invitee of the function.
